How to Run Your First Roblox Script

This assumes you have never run a script before and owns nothing yet. It covers the whole path, and spends most of its length on the parts that actually go wrong rather than the parts that just work.

What you need

1. 1A Windows PC. Most executors are Windows-only.
2. 2An alternate Roblox account, which is how most people run these.
3. 3An executor — the program that runs the code.
4. 4A script — the code itself, for the specific game you care about.
5. 5Administrator access on your machine.

Step 1 — Get a script

Decide what you want to happen: farm a currency, unlock cosmetics, automate a grind. Then find a script for that specific game. Scripts are game-specific — there is no universal one.

Get it from somewhere accountable: a paid seller, a moderated community, or the developer's own published channel. Not a YouTube description, and not a link-shortener chain. Our guide on avoiding script scams covers why in detail, and what a malicious script actually does.

Note what the script requires. Most say which executors they work with, or which UNC/sUNC level they need.

Step 2 — Get an executor that supports it

Now buy the executor, knowing what it has to satisfy. If the script does not state requirements, a broadly compatible executor is the safe default.

Your key is emailed within seconds of payment. If you do not see it, check spam before anything else — this accounts for most of the messages we get about missing keys.

Step 3 — Install it

1. 1Download from the link in your email or from the downloads page. Not from a mirror someone sent you.
2. 2Your antivirus will probably object. This is expected for this category — executors inject into other processes and obfuscate themselves, which is exactly what scanners are built to flag. Our guide on avoiding script scams explains when this is a genuine warning and when it is not.
3. 3Add an exclusion for the executor's folder rather than disabling protection entirely. Turning your antivirus off wholesale leaves you exposed to everything else while you play.
4. 4Extract to a normal folder. Avoid Program Files and avoid your Downloads folder — permissions in one and cleanup tools in the other both cause problems.

Step 4 — Run it

1. 1Open Roblox and join the game you want. Do this first — most executors need the game already running to attach to.
2. 2Right-click the executor and choose Run as administrator. Injection generally requires it, and skipping this causes vague failures that look like something worse.
3. 3Enter your key when prompted.
4. 4Press Inject or Attach. Wait for it to confirm — this can take a few seconds and pressing it repeatedly makes things worse, not faster.
5. 5Paste your script into the box and press Execute.

When it does not work

Injection fails or hangs

• Not running as administrator. This is the first thing to check, every time.
• Roblox updated and the executor has not caught up yet. Check the Discord for status rather than retrying — if it is genuinely down, retrying achieves nothing and repeated injection attempts are not helpful.
• Antivirus silently quarantined part of it. Check your quarantine, not just whether a warning appeared.
• Another overlay is in the way. Recording software, game overlays and second executors all interfere.

It injects but the script does nothing

• Compatibility mismatch — the script needs functions your executor does not implement properly. This is what UNC and sUNC measure.
• Wrong game. Scripts are written for one game and fail silently in another.
• The game updated and the script needs updating. Common, and outside the executor's control.
• You pasted it incompletely. Sounds trivial; happens constantly.

It worked, then stopped a week later

Roblox updated. Wait for the executor to be updated to match. Every executor goes through this; the difference between them is how quickly they come back.
